Apakah sejarah asal asul nama Pantai Beserah?
Setelah kematian anaknya iaitu Cik Timah, Haji Senik (penduduk asal Kuantan) telah membuat keputusan meninggalkan Kampung Teruntum yang banyak meninggalkan kisah-kisah sedih. Beliau kemudiannya berpindah ke sebuah kawasan di utara Teruntum. Setelah membuat sebuah penempatan baru, kawasan ini pula diserang sejenis penyakit yang dikenali sebagai “hawar”. Semua penduduk di kawasan ini bercadang untuk berpindah ke tempat lain tetapi Hj. Senik meminta mereka bersabar dan berserah kepada Allah SWT. Kerana sikap mesyarakatnya sentiasa bertaqwa dan berserah kepada Allah SWT, maka tempat ini dipanggil “Beserah” sehingga sekarang.
