Setelah kematian anaknya iaitu Cik Timah, Haji Senik (penduduk asal Kuantan) telah membuat keputusan meninggalkan Kampung Teruntum yang banyak meninggalkan kisah-kisah sedih. Beliau kemudiannya berpindah ke sebuah kawasan di utara Teruntum. Setelah membuat sebuah penempatan baru, kawasan ini pula diserang sejenis penyakit yang dikenali sebagai “hawar”.
