- 2–2.5 hrs one way

Golden Beach
- 3 hrs one way
- Long, unbroken stretch of golden sand—ideal for swimming

- 20 mins walk after boat drop-off
- Small jungle pool accessible via Sungai Sebubong

Getting There
- From Bintulu: 30 km northeast (~30 mins by taxi)
- No public bus: Use taxi (~RM 70–80) or Grab (~RM 45)
- Alternative: Charter a fast boat from Bintulu Wharf
- Tip: Book return transport in advance
Temporary Closure Notice
Similajau National Park is currently closed for major upgrades under the 12th Malaysia Plan (RMK-12), including:
- Suspension bridge repairs
- Accommodation restoration
- Trail and safety improvements
Closed since September 10, 2024. Stay tuned for reopening updates from Sarawak Forestry Corporation.
