Taman Tugu Forest Park Malaysia weekly flowga session takes stretching and flexibility outdoors amidst an urban forest setting.
Taman Tugu is located just across Jalan Parlimen from the Lake Gardens (Taman Tasik Perdana) and behind Tugu Negara, in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
A not-for-profit initiative led by Khazanah Nasional Berhad, this lush 66-acre urban forest opened to the public in September 2019. Encompassing a network of trails for beginners through 5,000 indigenous trees and 1000 species of flora and fauna, it has been embraced by the public as a place to unwind, explore and enthral.
Taman Tugu Malaysia – The nursery.
It’s within this pocket jungle, at the Taman Tugu Nursery, that Taman Tugu’s weekly Flowga sessions happen. Launched in October of last year, before finally finding its home on Saturdays at 10am, the one hour session of yoga and stretching takes place under an open but covered area.
